Today is National Hunger Awareness Day! Augie Fernandes, Executive Director of Gleaners Community Food Bank reminds all of us that "Hunger Knows No Season"
The Mechanics are proud to partner with Gleaners on Thursday, June 30th from 5-9pm for the Inaugural Hockey vs Hunger Food Drive. This event will take place on the floor at the "Garage" on Utica Road in Fraser.
There will be live music, food and drink, kids games, roller hockey clinics, free autographs with Mechanics players and possible NHL players, prize giveaways and more.
The first 500 people who donate nonperishable food items will receive a Hockey vs Hunger Food Drive t-shirt.
WE HOPE YOU ALL WILL JOIN US IN SPREADING THE WORD! DONATE FOOD AT THE GARAGE ON JUNE 30TH.
