McIntosh signs with RiverDogs

Richmond, VA – The Richmond RiverDogs of the United Hockey League have signed G Ryan McIntosh to a contract for the 2004/'05 season. McIntosh spent last season with the Elmira Jackals. He was acquired by Richmond in the UHL Expansion Draft following a trade with Kansas City.

McIntosh established a pro career high for games played last season with the Jackals. He has spent his entire pro career in the UHL. McIntosh was a four year starter in net at Augsburg College. He was a four time All-MIAC choice and a second team All American as a freshman. He helped Augsburg to a spot in the NCAA Division Three Final Four in 1998. He played junior hockey in the BCJHL and AJHL. He helped the Calgary Canucks to the 1995 Royal Bank Cup (Canadian Junior A national champions).

The ‘Dogs now have 15 players under contract for 2004-'05: Brian Goudie, Paul Johnson, J.F. Picard, J.J. Wrobel, Luch Nasato, Jami Yoder, David Brosseau, Francis Belanger, Jordan Roach, Jonathan Gagnon, Jeff Sanger, Trevor Senn, Mark Turner, Mike Knight, and McIntosh.
