Birmingham Stallions quarterback Alex McGough, Michigan Panthers linebacker Frank Ginda, and Philadelphia Stars cornerback Amani Dennis were named the OurSports Central United States Football League Offensive Player, Defensive Player and Unsung Hero of the Week, respectively, for week six of the USFL season.

McGough earned the honor for the second time this season by completing 19 of 24 passes for 133 yards and two touchdowns while contributing 82 rushing yards and another score in the Stallions' 27-13 victory over the Michigan Panthers, moving Birmingham into a three-way tie for first place in the South Division at 4-2.

Honorable mention goes to Philadelphia Stars wide receiver Corey Coleman, the former first round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, who caught six passes for 67 yards in the Stars' 16-10 win over the New Orleans Breakers.

Defensively, Ginda racked up 18 total tackles, half a sack and a forced fumble in the Panthers' home defeat to the Stallions, earning himself Defensive Player of the Week for the second time.

Pittsburgh Maulers linebacker Kyahva Tezino earned honorable mention with 16 total tackles, two for a loss, in the Maulers' 22-0 setback to the Memphis Showboats.

Stars cornerback Amani Dennis intercepted a pass by Breakers quarterback McLeod Bethel Thompson and returned it 72 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter to give Philadelphia a 13-0 lead.

Dennis played college football at Division III school Carthage. This is his second season with the Stars.

Dennis' game-winning interception pushed the Stars to 3-3 and back into first place in the North Division.
