New Orleans Breakers running back Wes Hills, Pittsburgh Maulers linebacker Reuben Foster, and Houston Gamblers wide receiver Justin Hall were named the OurSports Central United States Football League Offensive Player, Defensive Player and Unsung Hero of the Week, respectively, for week three of the USFL season.

Hills carried the load for the Breakers with 34 rushes for 191 yards and three touchdowns, plus three receptions for 16 yards in the Breakers' 45-31 victory over the Birmingham Stallions.

Hills has rumbled for 301 rushing yards and six scores the past two games.

Hills' dominant performance gave New Orleans its first win in four tries against the defending USFL champions Stallions.

Honorable mention goes to New Jersey Generals quarterback De'Andre Johnson who completed 10 of 15 passes for 180 yards with a pair of scores, and added 98 rushing yards and one touchdown in the New Jersey Generals' 28-13 decision over the Michigan Panthers, spoiling their home debut.

Defensively, Foster finished with 11 total tackles, one interception and two passes defensed in the Maulers' 21-13 triumph over the Philadelphia Stars.

Foster was a first round pick, 31st overall in the 2017 NFL Draft by the San Francisco 49ers. He also played with the Washington Football Team from 2018 until 2020. Foster signed with the Maulers on January 27, 2023.

Foster's interception off Stars quarterback Case Cookus was a critical part of a flurry of Philadelphia turnovers in the fourth quarter.

New Jersey Generals linebacker Chris Orr earned an honorable mention with 10 total tackles.

Justin Hall caught the game-winning, 10-yard touchdown reception with 13 seconds left as the Houston Gamblers rallied to a 30-26 victory over the Memphis Showboats to earn their first win USFL season. Hall ended the game with six catches for 90 yards and two touchdowns.

Hall played college football at Ball State and is in his first season with the Gamblers.

Hall's game-winning reception completed a desperate drive after Memphis had taken the lead with under two minutes left.
