McFadden Named OHL Academic Player of the Month

Mississauga, ON - The Mississauga St. Michael's Majors are pleased to inform you that defenceman Josh McFadden was awarded Academic Player of the Month of December in the Central Division, as announced by the Ontario Hockey League.

McFadden, 17, a native of Guelph, Ontario is a Grade 12 student at Philip Pocock Secondary School in Mississauga. Kimberley Bailey, the Majors Academic Advisor, had this to say about McFadden, "Josh has been doing very well in high school this term. He is taking four out of four courses and is maintaining his 76% average."

The 6'0", 200 lb. rookie defenceman has collected a goal and four assists for five points in 35 games played so far this season.
