Maywood Buzz add Point Guard Kelion Fortune to roster

Maywood Buzz News Release
MAYWOOD, CA - The Maywood Buzz have signed former Dominguez High School and former #1 ranked High School PG in the nation Keilon Fortune. "I had a chance to see Kelion play when I was coaching girls basketball at Warren High School and Football at Mayfair High School" stated Buzz GM Burrel Lee III. "We all know that he made a few mistakes in his past back in his high school playing days and we have talked and we are excited to add him to our roster" added Lee.
"I was talking to Coach Gary Anderson Head Coach at Long Beach City College and he said that Burrel all this kid needs is a chance and a coach to believe in him as I did when he came and enrolled and played with us. In his first game with the Buzz a 130-129 lost to the O.C. Gladiators he lead the Buzz playing over 40 minutes, dishing out assists, scoring, playing defense and giving the Buzz one thing they haven't had all season, a true point guard." says Lee.
"I am happy to be playing with the Buzz" says Fortune, "it is just a matter of time that we begin to jell and come together as a team and win some ball games" added Fortune.
