
Mayhem Head Cross-State for One Game against Columbus

MACON, GA- After winning all three games this weekend and moving four points clear of the Huntsville Havoc for first place in the SPHL, the Macon Mayhem will play just one game this weekend - Saturday night on the road against the Columbus Cottonmouths.
WEEKEND RECAP
The Mayhem went 3-0-0 this weekend, winning both their games against the Mississippi RiverKings and the one against the Pensacola Ice Flyers.
Jordan Ruby went 2-0-0 this past weekend, allowing just one goal and saving 59 of the 60 shots he faced. He is now 18-4-3 with a 2.09 goals against average (GAA) and a .932 save percentage (SV%).
Multiple Mayhem players had big weekends, including Collin MacDonald - one goal and three assists, Jake Trask - four assists, Dennis Sicard - two goals and one assist, and Daniel Gentzler - two goals and three assists.
Sicard recorded his 100th career SPHL goal, as well as his 2,000th career penalty minutes in this weekend's action.
COLUMBUS PREVIEW
Macon plays just one game this weekend - Saturday night in "The Snake Pit" against the Columbus Cottonmouths. The Snakes are 15-25-3 on the season (33 points) and in ninth place. Macon is 5-0-0 this year against the Cottonmouths, but these two teams have not met since December 17.
Columbus is lead offensively by Keegan Bruce - 21 goals, 14 assists, and 35 points - and Andy Bathgate - nine goals, 23 assists, and 32 points.
Spencer Bacon has taken over as the team's main goaltender and is 5-6-0 with a 3.27 GAA and a .913 SV%. Bacon has yet to face the Mayhem this season.
