
Max Kalter Commits to UCONN

The Jr. Blues are excited to announce that alumnus Max Kalter has just committed to University of Connecticut for the fall. Max lead the Jr. Blues with 15 goals and 21 assists in 2013-14. As a high school age student max helped both his line mates earn USHL call-ups midseason. Patrick Curry went to the Tri-City Storm and Kevin Shand went to Cedar Rapids Roughriders. Max was named to the NAHL Young Guns Top Prospect Team as a top under 18 player in the league. This season, Max was named captain and scored 3 points in his first 4 games for the Jr. Blues before getting promoted to Sioux City in the USHL. In the USHL Kalter scored 13 goals and 17 assists.
