Mavs Looking for Host Families

The 2005 Mavericks Baseball season is right around the corner and the Mavs are looking for some generous families to host players during the season. The 2005 season will mark the beginning of the Mavericks affiliation with the Kansas City Royals and host families are needed for a majority of the Royals players coming into town.

Becoming a Mavericks host family is easy; host families must provide housing and a friendly, clean, and happy environment for a Mavericks player during the season. Families who have opened their homes in the past to Mavericks players have found it a very rewarding and memorable experience.

During the season the Mavericks will have a pre-game get together for all of the host families and their players and host families will also be honored on the field before a Mavericks game.

The 2005 season opens at home on April 7th at 7:05 with a spectacular fireworks show after the game, all courtesy of the Highway 395 Safety Coalition, Don't Pass on Safety.
