
Mavericks Begin Training Camp October 4

INDEPENDENCE, Missouri - The Missouri Mavericks will begin the team's second training camp Monday, October 4 at Independence Events Center. Nearly 30 players will try out for the Central Hockey League (CHL) club vying for 19 roster spots.
The Mavericks pre-season schedule consists of a Showcase game on Oct. 7, two exhibition games on Oct. 8 and Oct. 9 against the Evansville Icemen and a number of practices that will be open to the public.
Fans wishing to attend the practices at Independence Events Center must enter the building through the Top Shelf Team Store and seating will be available in sections 113-116. Fans are asked to enter through the Centerpoint Community Ice Rink for practices held at the community rink.

All of the practices are subject to change without notice.
The Missouri Mavericks will begin their second season in the Central Hockey League on October 15, 2010 against the Odessa Jackalopes at 7:05 p.m. The Mavericks play their home games at the state-of-the-art Independence Events Center where parking is always free.
