INDEPENDENCE, Missouri - Missouri Mavericks' President and General Manager Brent Thiessen announced Tuesday the Central Hockey League (CHL) team has scheduled an exhibition game for this Friday, October 12 against the Bloomington Blaze at U.S. Cellular Coliseum in Bloomington, Illinois.

"However, when the opportunity presented itself we felt we wanted to take advantage and see how some of the players in camp will respond. We look forward to the quick trip to Bloomington and it should help answer some the roster questions we have."
Missouri currently has 24 players on their pre-season roster which includes 14 forwards, six defensemen and four goaltenders.
