Harrisburg Senators News Release


The Harrisburg Senators announced today that pitcher Troy Mattes has been sent to Montreal's triple-A team in Edmonton. Mattes, who did not play at all last season because of an injury, was working himself back in shape with the Senators this season.

An opening occurred with the Trappers when former Senator Matt Blank was named as the player to be named later from an earlier trade with San Francisco.

This season in Harrisburg, Mattes appeared in five games, making three starts. He worked 19 innings, allowing 21 hits, 15 runs, 12 ER, 3 walks and 8 strikeouts.
