LAS VEGAS - Las Vegas Lights Football Club found itself in a tie for first place atop the United Soccer League Western Conference standings the last time it walked off of the field.

That was on Saturday, March 31, following a thrilling, come-from-behind 2-1 victory over Swope Park Rangers.

While Lights FC (2-0-1, 7 points) had last weekend off from game action, the other four teams it was tied with all played, and now there is some ground to make up. One of those clubs - Sacramento Republic FC (3-0-1, 10 points) - comes to town Saturday night for an 8 p.m. showdown at Cashman Field. Tickets are still available, and start at just $15. Lights FC took advantage of the week off by combining both rest and fine-tuning its offensive attack. Meanwhile, Saturday night, Sacramento continued its hot start to the season with a 1-0 victory over Seattle Sounders 2.

SOME KEY NOTES AS MATCH WEEK BEGINS ...

Lights FC will train from 9 a.m. until approximately 11 a.m. each day this week, with all practices open to both the public and media. Coaches and players are available for interviews following each team training session. For up-to-date training times and locations, visit LightsFC.com/Training.

Lights FC players will take part in the Opening Night of Miracle League Las Vegas's upcoming soccer season, Thursday evening from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Miracle League provides a playing environment for children and adults with cognitive and/or physical challenges in the Las Vegas community. Media is welcome to attend as Lights FC players help those at the Miracle League get their season started!

Saturday's match kicks off at 8 p.m. For on-site ticket purchase at Cashman Field, the box office will open at 12 p.m., and Will Call opens at 4:30 p.m.

The expanded Zappos Tailgate Party, featuring Lights FC's own "Cash the Soccer Rocker," live music, a variety of food trucks, an experiential beer garden from Motley Brews and tailgate games for both kids and adults begins at 5:30 p.m. in the Cashman parking lot. The Zappos Tailgate is FREE for fans to attend.

Gates to the stadium for general public entry open at 7 p.m., with three available entrances at Cashman Field: The Main Gate, the Zappos Gate and the Stadium Corner Gate.
