San Diego makes its way to Orlando for the first time in series history with the Mojo looking to avenge a five-set loss suffered to the Valkyries in San Diego on March 11, the only previous matchup in the series. The Mojo are currently in fifth place in the Pro Volleyball Federation standings, just behind the fourth-place Valkyries. First serve at Additional Financial Arena is set for noon PT.

San Diego Mojo Outlook

San Diego arrives in Orlando as winners in three of their last four matches. Last time out, head coach Tayyiba Haneef-Park and the Mojo earned a hard-fought five-set road victory at the Columbus Fury. Temi Thomas-Ailara had a team high 19 points, collecting 17 kills on 46 swings (37 percent), as well as 10 digs, while Morgan Lewis, Ronika Stone and Lindsey Vander Weide tallied 13 points each. Nootsara Tomkom had a match-high 49 assists, while she and Shara Venegas collected 18 digs. Setter Tomkom continues to lead the Pro Volleyball Federation with an average of 11.1 assists per set, one of only four players averaging double-digits, while her 564 total assists are the third-most in the league. Thomas-Ailara is averaging a team-leading 15.7 points per match, the eighth-best mark in the league, while Ronika Stone (10.0) and Lindsey Vander Weide (8.9) rank 15th and 21st in the PVF, respectively. Hannah Tapp leads the Mojo in spike ration (.430) and has 24 block wins while Stone ranks second with a spike ration of .396 and tops the team with 31 block wins, the ninth-most in the league.

Orlando Valkyries Outlook

Head coach Amy Pauly and the Valkyries have won two of their last three matches but fell at home in their last match to Grand Rapids in three sets. The Valkyries are 3-5 at home this season with losses in their last three.

Orlando's offense is led by Adora Anae, who is averaging 17.63 points per match, the fifth-most in the PVF, with Jill Gillen (13.13) and Kaz Brown (12.31) also averaging double-digits in scoring. Wilma Rivera serves as the primary setter, totaling 524 assists and 8.9 per set, while Brown leads the league with 51 block wins.
