IRVINE, Calif. (May 12, 2015) - Orange County Blues FC returns home on Wednesday, May 13th to take on Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC at UC Irvine's Anteater Stadium.

With the Blues being idle last weekend, they currently sit in fourth place in the Western Conference with 12 points, and have two games in hand on Seattle Sounders FC 2 and Austin Aztex, and three in hand over Sacramento Republic FC. The Blues just completed a three game road trip where they won two games, with victories over defending USL champions Sacramento and MLS owned team Portland Timbers 2.

Didier Crettenand scored an incredible game winning goal against T2 when his shot from almost 30 yards out rifled in off the crossbar. After a Denzel Slager goal, the Blues backline held firm. Left back Josh Suggs had a strong game as he controlled the left side of the field, giving Portland few chances on goal.

Wednesday's matchup will be the first time the Blues face expansion side Switchbacks, who have won three of their six games this season (9 pts.). Luke Vercollone leads the team with three assists and two goals, including a penalty shot in their 3-2 win against Arizona United SC, despite playing two men down.

Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. PST and the match will also be streamed live on YouTube/OCBluesFC.

Season and single game tickets for the 2015 OC Blues FC campaign in USL are on sale now. To purchase tickets call 949-333-0418 or for more information email seats@bluessoccerclub.com.
