KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - North Carolina FC visits One Knoxville SC for the first time during the 2023 USL League One season this Saturday, June 3, at 7:30 PM ET at Regal Stadium. Coming off of a tough loss in Charlotte last weekend, NCFC is still sitting atop the USL League One table, now tied tied with Charlotte Independence.

After a game against Charlotte with plenty of looks and opportunities North Carolina didn't come out on top. North Carolina FC looks to bounce back after a bye week to take down One Knoxville SC.

Scouting One Knoxville SC

One Knoxville SC sits currently third in the USL League One standing, trailing North Carolina FC and Charlotte Independence by four points. They are coming off of a 1-1 draw against Lexington SC. Although it was a draw, they are looking to start off the game by dominating possession and continue their accurate passing, which was around 85% against Lexington. With them right behind NCFC, they are hungry to start a win streak to get to the top of the USL League One Standings.

Players to Watch

Oalex Anderson- Forward, North Carolina FC

An anchor for the offense, Oalex Anderson has 4 goals on the season, which is top 5 in the USL League One. Anderson is essential to the success of North Carolina FC this weekend. He also is among the top in the league for assists. Look for Oalex Anderson getting it going for NCFC, and utilize his speed and quickness to blow by defenders. As he gets the game moving quick early each of his teammates will feed off of every chance he creates.

Sean Lewis- Goalkeeper, One Knoxville FC

A leader amongst the defense, Sean Lewis is top 10 in both saves and clean sheets. He is the help on the back end for One Knoxville SC. Being an anchor for the defense, he will be in on every bit of action against the fast and talented offense of NCFC. He also provides a veteran presence on the field and will never be overwhelmed in any situation.
