CARY, NC - North Carolina FC looks to extend a six-game unbeaten streak as they host Forward Madison FC at WakeMed Soccer Park on Saturday, May 13, at 7:00 p.m. ET. North Carolina is heading into the weekend with four consecutive victories, while Forward Madison seaks their first win since April 15th.

Scouting Forward Madison FC

Forward Madison have played the second-fewest games in USL League One this season. Although the Flamingos in ninth place, they are currently undefeated within USL League One with a record of 1-0-4. Their lone win came against the Greenville Triumph, 4-1, in their home opener on April 15th. As Forward Madison heads to Cary this weekend, it will be their first match in ten days.

Players to Watch

North Carolina FC - Forward Oalex Anderson

Anderson is setting his team up for success. His three assists lead NCFC rank and are second in USL League One. He's scored two goals, including one at home against Chattanooga, and ranks second in the league with 17 shots. He is always pressuring the back line and has the most fast break shots in USL League One, but his unselfish play also sets up his teammates and is a big reason the NCFC attack is among the best in the league. He was a nominee for the league Player of the Month for April, which was won by teammate Rafa Mentzingen.

Forward Madison FC - Goalkeeper Bernd Schipmann

The Forward Madison Keeper is ranked fourth in saves and second in clean sheets this season in USL League One. Schipmann has helped Forward Madison salvage a point in back-to-back scoreless draws with Charlotte Independence and One Knoxville. He also is leading the USL League One in save percentage at almost 90 percent. Schipmann will surely be tested by the high-powered North Carolina offense and will play a key role in the visitor's success this Saturday.
