CARY, NC - Week six of the 2016 NASL Season brings the first-place Carolina RailHawks (4W-0T-1L, 12pts) back home to WakeMed Soccer Park to take on the Fort Lauderdale Strikers (0W-2T-2L, 2pts).

Coming off a difficult road trip to New York, to take on the New York Cosmos last weekend, the RailHawks are looking to extend their home unbeaten streak to six matches after earning back-to-back home wins against Minnesota United FC (2-1), and Ottawa Fury FC (1-0).

"This is a game that we are really looking forward to", said RailHawks Head Coach Colin Clarke. "We've been on the road for the last two weeks and are looking forward to playing at home in front of our own supporters. We are halfway through the spring season and we are in a great spot. These next two games at home are giving us a chance to put six points on the board and should put us in a really good position as we attempt to bring a championship back to the Triangle".

During the offseason, the Carolina RailHawks and Fort Lauderdale Strikers agreed to a trade that sent midfielder Neil Hlavaty to the Strikers in return for 29-year-old midfielder James Marcelin. In 2015, Marcelin was named to NASL's Best XI team.

On the other side of the field, the Fort Lauderdale Strikers are coming off a disappointing home loss to the Tampa Bay Rowdies this past weekend. Despite the addition of several experienced players, the team led by Head Coach and General Manager, Caio Zanardi continues to look for their first win of NASL Spring Season.

The RailHawks will return to WakeMed Soccer Park next week to take on NASL expansion side, Miami FC on Saturday, May 14 at 7:30PM.
