ATLANTA - Atlanta United returns to Mercedes-Benz Stadium to face Toronto FC on Saturday. The match, presented by Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, is set to kick-off at 7:30 p.m. EST and will be regionally broadcast Bally Sports South.

Atlanta holds a 3-5-4 all-time record against Toronto FC: 2-1-3 at home and 1-4-1 on the road. This is the second meeting between the two clubs this season, with Toronto winning the reverse fixture 2-1 at BMO Field on June 25.
Atlanta enters the match in 11th place in the Eastern Conference Standings on 33 points with five matches remaining, one point below Toronto and six points from the playoff line and seventh place.
Midfielder Thiago Almada was called up to the Argentine national team for the September FIFA window as it prepares for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The 21-year-old has recorded 10 assists this season, becoming the fifth player in club history to reach double digit assists in a single season. He ranks third in MLS in chances created from open play with 56 and tied for seventh with 68 chances created.
Toronto is coming off a 4-3 defeat at home against Montreal on Sept. 4. Federico Bernardeschi scored from the penalty spot and Lorenzo Insigne scored a brace in the loss. The two summer signings have combined for 13 goals and five assists in nine matches.
