ATL UTD 2 is coming off a 5-2 loss to Eastern Conference leaders Memphis 901 FC. Robbie Mertz scored his third goal in two games and 17-year-old Andy Sullins netted in his first professional start.

The ATL UTD 2 captain's left-footed volley against Rio Grande Valley FC was named the USL Championship Fans' Choice Goal of the Week yesterday, capping off what was a memorable week for the midfielder.

For his performances against RGV FC Toros and Memphis 901, Mertz earned a spot in the USL Championship Team of the Week.

The Pennsylvania native was dynamic against Memphis, putting enough power behind a volley to get it past 901 FC netminder Trey Muse and creating five chances on the night; no Atlanta player has created more chances in a single match this season.

LOUDOUN UNITED IN 2022

Loudoun United currently sit in 10th place in the USLC's Eastern Conference, coming off a 1-0 home victory against New York Red Bulls II.

Egyptian teenager Abdellatif Aboukoura was the difference maker in the match, chipping Red Bulls II goalkeeper Ioannis Nikopolidis from more than 20 yards out in the 38th minute.

Loudoun goalkeeper Luis Zamudio recorded his fourth clean sheet of the season against New York after having keeping three clean sheets in a row to begin the season.
