ATLANTA - Atlanta United 2 will face Birmingham Legion FC Sunday afternoon at Fifth Third Bank Stadium in Kennesaw, Georgia. The match is scheduled to kick-off at 3:30 p.m. ET and will be streamed live on ESPN+.

ATL UTD 2 is in search of its first win against Birmingham and its third win of the 2021 season. Legion FC leads the series between the two clubs with three wins in three competitions. Atlanta most recently drew 2-2 with Memphis 901 FC on Sunday, May 23. Aiden McFadden was the headliner with his second brace in back-to-back games this season, which earned him USL Championship Player of the Week.

Birmingham is coming off of a 1-0 win versus OKC Energy FC on Wednesday, May 26. Bruno Lapa scored the game's only goal in the 49th minute, when he buried a one-time shot at the top of the box on the feed from J.J. Williams. Goalkeeper Matt Van Oekel and his backline shutout OKC and only allowed two shots on target in the match.

This is the first of four meetings between ATL UTD 2 and Birmingham this season.
