Match Notes: San Antonio Scorpions vs Minnesota United
July 24, 2015 - North American Soccer League (NASL)
San Antonio Scorpions News Release
SAN ANTONIO, Texas (Friday, July 24, 2015) - The San Antonio Scorpions and Minnesota United have a heated history that includes intense playoff games, players suiting up for both teams, and on-field shenanigans. This year the two teams that set the pace for the rest of the league in 2014 are fighting to move back up the table as each is sitting on four points in the Fall Season, placing them four points behind leaders FC Edmonton. Omar Cummings continues to lead both the Scorpions and the NASL in scoring while United have former Scorpion Pablo Campos on top of their goals scored list.
This will be the last home game in almost a month for the Alamo City boys as they have their fall bye week and then head out for a two-game road trip before returning home to Toyota Field on August 22 to take on the Jacksonville Armada.
The match will be available online via ESPN3.
