Atletico Ottawa News Release
Looking to erase the sour taste of its last visit to Tim Hortons Field earlier this month, Atlético Ottawa makes the trip down the 416 once more to face Forge FC on Wednesday, August 25 (KO 8pm, live on OneSoccer).
MATCH NOTES
The two clubs last faced each other on August 8th in Hamilton, with Atlético Ottawa going down a man at the end of the first half and suffering the 0-2 loss to Forge FC despite offering a spirited performance in the second period.
This is the second of four matchups between the two sides this season.
Recent roster additions Nyal Higgins (loan from Toronto FC) and OSU product Jaeden Mercure will dress for the first time since joining the club.
With only 5 points separating the 5th and 8th place in the standings, a win (3pts) could dramatically shift Ottawa's position in the competition with almost half of the season behind us.
OUT: Brandon John (injury, season); Vashon Neufville (injury).
