Marto Returned to Eagles from IceCaps

LOVELAND, Colo. - The Colorado Eagles, proud affiliate of the NHL's Winnipeg Jets & the AHL's St. John's IceCaps, announced today that defenseman Jake Marto has been returned to the Eagles after spending the weekend on the IceCaps roster, appearing in one AHL game.

The stint with St. John's was the rookie's first appearance at the AHL level. He has played in seven games for the Eagles this season, recording three points (all assists), a plus-1 plus/minus rating and two penalty minutes.

Marto should be back in the Eagles' lineup for this Wednesday's game at the Budweiser Events Center against the Utah Grizzlies. The game is the team's annual Military Appreciation Night game and will be broadcast on Altitude Sports & Entertainment.
