Mariners hire Jim Dullea as Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Jim Dullea has joined the professional staff of the Virginia Beach Mariners as Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Dullea, a sales executive with over 20 years of experience has been involved in the procurement of contracts for such corporations as GE, DuPont, Monsanto, and 3M who have realized millions of dollars in sales and cash flow.

As an expert in all aspects of sales and marketing activities, Dullea has developed innovative and aggressive programs to meet the needs of various corporations in the United States and Canada. Jim, his wife and twin daughters have been involved in Virginia Beach youth soccer and coaching for many years.

"We are very pleased to welcome Jim to the team of experts we have assembled", said Mike McCann, Managing Team Director. "Jim brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and skills to our program and our mission".

"Dullea will focus his efforts on "corporate sponsorships" that will enhance and increase the Mariners market appeal as well as the "financial bottom line" McCann added.

"The Virginia Beach Mariners offers an opportunity to our corporate community to support our youth, families, and citizens with a first class professional soccer team. Dullea describes himself as a "soccer dad with a passion for sports, especially youth programs". "The Mariners have laid out an exciting future for soccer fans and players of all ages throughout Hampton Roads, said Dullea. It goes well beyond the games at the Sportsplex. It is the future of our youth."
