Marauders to Host Free Halloween Event

Bradenton, Fla. - The Bradenton Marauders today announced the team will host Trunk or Treat at McKechnie, a safe trick or treating option for area youth 14 and under. This free event will take place in the player's parking lot - off 17th Avenue - from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 30, 2010.

Children will trick or treat out of the trunks of vehicles belonging to local businesses and community organizations.

Trick or treaters will enjoy traditional trick or treating, a sugar cookie decorating station, coloring station, multiple inflatables and hayrides around the warning track. George's Disc Jockey and Karaoke Service will provide Halloween music and DJ services during the event.

A best costume and best decorated trunk contest will be held during the event. Prizes will be awarded for the top three costumes with the grand prize winner receiving a four-pack of Marauders tickets for the 2011 season and a Marauders prize pack. The vendor with the best decorated trunk will receive a gift certificate from Chiles Restaurant Group.

Free parking for this event will be in the One Stop Center parking lot located on 17th Avenue. A City of Bradenton Police Officer will assist families with crossing the street to attend the festivities.
