Marauders Host Mets and Yankees May 17-23

Bradenton, Fla. - The Marauders come home for seven straight games at McKechnie Field starting Friday, May 17. The St. Lucie Mets come to Bradenton from May 17-19 and the Tampa Yankees make their only visit of the season to McKechnie Field from May 20-23. Weeknight and Saturday games start at 6:30 p.m. and the game on Sunday, May 19 starts at 1:00 p.m. Gates open one hour before games start.

Friday, May 17 is Faith & Family Night presented by First Baptist Church of Bradenton. For the hour prior to the game there will be special themed live music on the outfield boardwalk. The game is also a Happy Hour Friday presented by Pier 22 Restaurant. Between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. there will be 500 free hot dogs given away at the outfield concessions stand and $1 sodas and select $1 draft beers from Kayem and Cheney Brothers at the Kona Bar built by NDC Construction and the Yuengling Plaza Bar. After the game there will be a fireworks extravaganza presented by Budweiser and Bright House Networks.

Saturday, May 18 is Armed Forces Night presented by Miller High Life. The first 500 fans will receive a limited-edition camouflage Marauders hat. Admission is free for anyone presenting a valid Military ID.

Sunday, May 19 is a Wendy's Family Fun Sunday. All tickets are only $1 and regular-size Kayem hot dogs cost just $1. Tickets must be purchased at the McKechnie Field ticket office in order to receive the $1 pricing. After all Sunday games, children 13 and younger can run the bases in the Kids Fun Run presented by Mosaic.

The Sunday Edition of the Bradenton Herald will feature a coupon to buy two tickets for the price of one for the game on Tuesday, May 21. This two-for-one coupon is available the Sunday before each Tuesday home game.

The first two games of the series against the Yankees will feature the 2013 Marauders team photo giveaway, presented by Pepsi and A Plus Pro Photo. Monday, May 20 is a Silverauders Night presented by Humana. Fans age 60 and older can join the Silverauders club for $30 and receive a free game ticket, free meal voucher, and a postgame Seniors Stroll around the bases at every Monday game. Monday games also feature Baseball Bingo presented by Jersey Mike's Subs and Precision Litho Service.

Tuesday, May 21 is Marty the Marauder's birthday! Marty will have several of his mascot friends out to the ballpark to celebrate, including the Tampa Bay Lightning Bug among others. Cake will be served. It is a First Mates Kids Club Night, so be prepared for another round of Baseball Bingo presented by Jersey Mike's Subs and Precision Litho Service. Children 13 and young can also participate in the Kids Fun Run presented by Mosaic.

The home stand concludes on Thursday, May 23 with Hurricane Awareness Night. Enjoy free giveaways and information about how to be prepared for the approaching storm season. It's a Thirsty Thursday presented by Budweiser. Sodas and select draft beers will cost $1 all around the ballpark.

The McKechnie Field ticket office is open on non-game days from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on Monday-Friday and closed on weekend non-game days. On Monday-Saturday game days, the ticket office opens at 1:00 p.m. and closes at the conclusion of the game. On Sunday game days and special games with 10 a.m. start times, the ticket office opens two hours prior to the game.
