Winnipeg, MB - The Manitoba Moose Hockey Club announced today the team has signed goaltender Garrett Bartus to a professional tryout agreement. Bartus, 27, has appeared in 14 games with the Fort Wayne Komets (ECHL) this season. The St. Charles, IL native has a 9-3-1 record supported by a 2.47 GAA and 0.909 SV% and one shutout. In 47 career ECHL games, Bartus holds a 21-15-7 record with a 3.07 GAA and 0.902 SV%. Prior to his professional career, Bartus spent four seasons at the University of Connecticut.
