Brevard County Manatees News Release
The Brevard County Manatees outlasted the Dunedin Blue Jays in a pitcher's duel tonight, 2-1 in 10 innings. The pitching combination of Sam Narron, Jeremy Lewis and Josh Alliston went 10 innings allowing only six hits, no walks and they whiffed 14 Blue Jays batters. Not too shabby at all! Everybody else in the Eastern Division lost with the exception of leader Daytona who was rained out at Clearwater. The Manatees picked up a 1/2 game on Daytona and a game on everybody else.
The teams lace 'em up for game #2 of this four-game series Wednesday night at 7:00 pm.
