QUACK TRACKS

Three in Three The Mallards won two of the three games they played in a 48 hour span last weekend to move to .500 on the season. The Mallards were last above .500 on November 26, when they brought an 8-7-0 record into what proved to be a 4-3 loss to Bloomington.

Six Pack The Mallards posted their largest margin of victory in yesterday's 6-3 win over Fort Wayne and also matched a club season high for most goals in one game. The Flock established a new season high for goals in one period by scoring four times in the second period yesterday.

Home Sweet Home Yesterday's win kicked off a four game home stand for the Mallards and also began a stretch that will see the Flock play six of its next seven games at home.

On the Road

With last Saturday's 4-1 loss at Bloomington the Mallards completed a stretch of five straight road games during which they went 2-3-0.

Narrow Margin

Last Friday's 4-3 win at Missouri was the Mallards' thirteenth one-goal game of the season.

Special Teams The Mallards went 6-for-19 on the power play over three games last weekend and matched a single game season high by scoring three power play goals (on seven chances) yesterday against Fort Wayne. The Mallards now rank third in the league in power play efficiency (20.2 percent) and tenth in penalty killing (82.0 percent).

Sunday Fun Day

With yesterday's win the Mallards improved to 3-0-0 on Sundays this season. Each of the Mallards' three Sunday games has been played on home ice.

Kindle Quartet Tyler Kindle piled up four assists yesterday to set a club season high for assists in one game and match the Mallard season best for points in one contest.

Streak Snapped

Center Mike McLean's seven game point scoring streak (4-6-10) ended yesterday against Fort Wayne. McLean leads the Mallards in assists (14) and points (24).

Mighty Marino

Right Wing Brandon Marino scored one goal and added two assists yesterday against Fort Wayne. Marino produced seven points- one goal and six assists- in three games over the weekend.

Obi on the Up

Left wing Obi Aduba (7-13-20) has scored seven goals and notched 20 points in his last 14 games.

Pear-less Right wing Zac Pearson (12-4-16) has scored four times in his last six games and is now tied for fifth in the CHL in goals.

Goaltender Adam Russo has started four of the Mallards' last five games and now ranks third in the league in save percentage (.930) and fifth in goals against average (2.40).

Firsts

Jake Riddle scored one goal and added two assists yesterday against Fort Wayne after failing to record a point in his first ten games as a Mallard. Jason Kostadine picked up his first assist of the season in yesterday's win. Kevin Jarman scored the game winning power play goal in his Mallard debut last Friday at Missouri.

Ins and Outs Left wing Phil Axtell was placed on the Mallards' suspended list after suffering serious but non-life threatening injuries in an automobile accident last Monday. The Mallards signed left wing Kevin Jarman last Thursday. Defenseman Adam Maccarone was granted a league leave of absence Thursday. Quad City inked center/left wing Paul Kelly to a contract last Saturday.

Rematch Friday at the i wireless Center the Komets and Mallards will meet for the second time in six days. The two clubs have split their first four meetings. The home team is 4-0-0 in the season series. The Komets have now lost five straight games, matching their longest losing streak of the season. The Komets are the lowest scoring team in the league, having produced just 40 goals in their first 19 games. Defenseman Frankie DeAngelis is Fort Wayne's top point scorer (5-11-16).

Ice Age The IceMen dropped a pair of home games to Rapid City last weekend and have won just one of their last eight games (1-5-2). Evansville's Nicklas Lindberg (7-20-27) ranks fifth in the league in assists and is tied for ninth in points. The IceMen begin a stretch of six straight road games Friday night against Mississippi. The Mallards have gone 2-2-0 in their first four meetings with Evansville. On October 29 the Flock defeated the IceMen 2-1 in the only prior match-up between two teams at the i wireless Center.

Single Game Tickets

The ticket office is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2:00

p.m. and on game days other than Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until the end of the first period. On Sundays on which the Mallards play at home the ticket office will be open from 1:00 p.m. until the end of the first period.

Between the Pipes

"Between the Pipes," the Mallards' weekly television show, has returned on Mediacom's MC22 channel for the 2010-11 season.
