MALLARDS NOTES

Last Game

Garrett Thompson scored the game winning goal with seven minutes, 19 seconds left in regulation as the Fort Wayne Komets rallied from a 3-1 third period deficit to defeat the host Mallards 4-3 Sunday.

Hit the Road

The Mallards return to the road this week for games in Wichita (tonight) and Toledo (Friday and Saturday).

Busy

The Mallards went 1-3-0 while playing four games in a five day stretch that ended with Sunday's loss to Fort Wayne.

The Mallards have lost six of their last seven games.

The Mallards have gone 6-for-7 on the penalty kill over their last two games after allowing three goals on four Utah power plays in last Friday's 7-6 shootout win over the Grizzlies.
