Quad City Mallards News Release
MOLINE, Ill. (April 19, 2010) - The Quad City Mallards, proud International Hockey League (IHL) affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, today announced that 2010-11 Mallards season tickets are now on sale and that prices for both season tickets and single game seats have been significantly reduced for next season.
"In light of the community's overwhelming response to the Mallards' return and the tremendous attendance we saw this season at the i wireless Center, we believe we can continue to grow our season ticket base now that we have our first full off-season during which to sell ticket packages," said Mallards Vice President of Ticketing and Business Development Ryan Simmons. "Our new pricing structure will allow us to provide an even more affordable family entertainment option. We look forward to both continuing to build our fan base this summer and also providing our current loyal customers with the outstanding service they have come to expect. "
Fresh off a thrilling inaugural IHL campaign that saw the Mallards average better than 4,000 fans per game and finish second in the league in attendance, the Flock will lower the price of lower bowl season tickets from $15 per game to $13 per game and drop the rate for upper bowl season tickets from $11 to $9 for 2010-11. Though season ticket renewals began just last week, the Mallards have already received a strong response from ticket holders.
The cost of many season ticket holders' seats has dropped anywhere from 13 to 18 percent. There will be no change in the pricing of the Mallards' exclusive Coors Light Ice Row Cold Pass- front row seats that provide pre-game locker room access among a host of other benefits. Though Ice Row season tickets are sold out, space is available on the waiting list for Ice Row season seats.
Next season all tickets for children 12-and-under will be available for just $5 for both season seats and single game tickets with the lone exception of Ice Row seats. Thus, a kids' season ticket costs just $175.
Next season single game lower bowl seats will be available for the new lower rate of $15; upper bowl single game seats for just $10.
In addition to a discounted ticket price, season ticket holders also receive a host of unique benefits. New for next season, ticket holders will receive four free Pack the House Night vouchers in addition to their season seats. Pack the House Night vouchers are good for four tickets to one specified game and give ticket holders the chance to help pack the i wireless Center for that tilt. Ticket holders will receive Pack the House Night vouchers in addition to again next season also being provided with four free Buddy Plan vouchers good for tickets to any game. Also available again for ticket holders next season is the ticket exchange program- season ticket holders can trade in tickets to games they were unable to attend for seats to other games. The Mallards' EZ-Pay Plan, which allows for convenient monthly no-interest payments through October 1, likewise returns.
