The Saskatchewan Roughriders are proud to announce that Gene Makowsky has been chosen to represent the Western Division in this year's Player Awards. For the first time in his career Gene Makowsky will be up for the top Lineman in the CFL.

First CFL nomination for top Lineman...was chosen as Rider nominee in 2002...started 18 games at right tackle this season...last Roughrider offensive lineman to win CFL award was Andrew Greene in 2003.
