MISSISSAUGA, ON - The Mississauga St. Michael's Majors defeated the Belleville Bulls tonight at the Hershey Centre in front of 2797 fans. The opening ceremonies marked another first for the Majors, as the team unveiled their new video scoreclock.

Belleville jumped all over the Majors new goaltender Mickael Audette, marching out to an early 2-0 lead. Mike Mascioli had the first Bulls goal, on an assist by Braeden Corbeth, just 1:04 into the game. After a Brett Flemming penalty, Belleville extended their lead to 2-0 with a powerplay goal at 4:53.
