Bismarck, N.D., Jan. 27, 2007 "" The Dakota Wizards reacquired Dakota Wizards guard Renaldo Major following his 10-day contract with the Golden State Warriors. Major will join the Wizards in Texas, as they take on the Fort Worth Flyers in the third game of four straight.
Major played nearly 30 minutes in one game with the Warriors, while in the D-League he has played 17 games with the Dakota Wizards this season, Major is averaging 18.5 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 2.0 steals in 35.8 minutes per contest, while shooting 53.6% (104-194 FG) from the field. He currently ranks tenth in the D-League in scoring and is also fifth in steals per game.
A 6-7, 190-pound third-year professional, Major went undrafted out of Fresno State in the 2004 NBA Draft. He played the last two seasons (2004-05 & 2005-06) in the CBA with the Gary Steelheads and the Sioux Falls Skyforce, while also playing for the Dodge City Legend of the USBL in the summers of 2005 and 2006.
Major was the sixth Gatorade Call-Up of the 2006-07 NBA Development League season.
Major, 24, will wear uniform #7.
