Magicians Get Historic First Win

Birmingham Magicians News Release


The Birmingham Magicians of the ABA, coached by Jim Farmer, defeated the Mississippi Stingers, 98-93 for their first franchise win ever tonight in Greenville, MS. Former Alabama star, Brian Williams, led the Magicians in scoring with 29 points. Former Alabama A&M star Desmond Howard added 20 points, and former Auburn star, Mack McGadney scored 16 points for the Magicians in their first.

The Magicians travel to Atlanta to take on the Atlanta Vision this Saturday at 7:30 p.m. before returning to Birmingham for their first ever home game at Fair Park Arena on Nov. 30th also against the Atlanta Vision.
