ABALIVETALK to focus on player of the week
November 17, 2005 - American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release
Derrick Pearson, host of ABALIVETALK, announced today that Saturdays show will focus on the Player of the Week Award. "I want input from teams, fans, players themselves, owners on the players that deserve recognition for the award." The program airs Saturday at 3pm EST and is archived for later listening. "We are in week # 3, and I think the volume of games and quality of play should make for a competitive Player of the Week."
The show will feature the regular "Ask the CEO" segment with ABA CEO Joe Newman. Emails for the segment can be addressed to joenewman@abalive.com or abalivetalk@aol.com. For more information on the show or to listen to past shows, visit www.abalive.com.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams. For information on professional minor leagues, please see OSC's basketball section.
