
Magic Late Rally Falls Short

McALLEN, Texas---- The Rio Grande Valley Magic lost at home for the second time this season and saw their three game winning streak snapped as they fell to the West Texas Roughnecks by a score 72-62 Monday night at State Farm Arena.
Billy Garza threw for 325 yards and seven touchdowns; while Melvin Stephenson had 250 all-purpose yards but it was not enough for the Magic. Turnovers also plagued the Magic throughout the game.
The West Texas Roughnecks with the win improved to 3-6 in the season while the Magic fall to 5-3.
The Magic will have their next home game on Monday, June 18, 2012, as they will host a opponent to be determined as the Houston Stallions dropped out of the Lone Star Football League. Season and individual tickets are available by calling (956) 905-5401 or visiting a ticket master outlet.
