
Madden Transferred To Jacksonville; Kaminska Transferred To New Orleans

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Jacksonville Suns, Double-A minor league affiliate of the Miami Marlins, announced today that RHP Corey Madden has been transferred to Jacksonville from New Orleans. In a corresponding move, RHP Kyle Kaminska has been transferred to New Orleans from Jacksonville.
Madden, who was transferred to New Orleans on June 16, makes his way back to Jacksonville. Madden pitched in the June 17 game against Memphis in which he struck out two in one inning of relief.
Kaminska makes his way to New Orleans for the second time this year. Kaminska has thrown three innings of one hit ball with two strikeouts for the Zephyrs in 2012. He was 4-3 with a 4.18 ERA in 20 appearances with the Suns in 2012 with 27 strikeouts to seven walks.
The Suns roster remains at 24 with the maximum of 25 allowed by the Southern League.
