Fort Wayne, IN (December 11, 2010) - The Texas Legends had their five-game winning streak snapped on Saturday night after falling 119-110 to the Fort Wayne Mad Ants inside Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.

The Legends dominated much of the first quarter and into the second as they led by as much as 13 points midway through the second quarter. However, Fort Wayne used a 12-2 run late in the first half to help them come back and tie the game at 67 going into halftime.

The first half comeback was led by Corey Allmond, who scored 20 of his 23 points as well as six of his seven three pointers in that opening half.

In the second half, Darnell Lazare took control for the Mad Ants as he would finish with a game-high 29 points to go along with his 10 rebounds. Sean Williams kept the game close for the Legends as he controlled the low post with 27 points and a season-high 17 boards.

The loss drops the Legends record to 5-2, as they lost for the first time since their season opener in Rio Grande Valley back on November 18. The defeat also halted the Legends five-game winning streak. With the win, Fort Wayne improved to 5-2.

Texas will look for revenge tomorrow night in the second game of the weekend series in Fort Wayne. The game is set for a 4:00 p.m. tip-off.
