FORT WAYNE, IN, (October 30, 2008) - The Fort Wayne Mad Ants are inviting all of Fort Wayne to attend the 2008 NBA D-League Draft Party hosted by Crazy Pinz on Friday, November 7. Bring your family and friends out as head coach Jaren Jackson and assistant coach Doug Noll will be making their 10 draft picks live from Crazy Pinz. The Mad Ants have the 6th pick in the draft which begins at 7:00 pm and will be aired live on NBA TV.
Fans will get a chance to meet and hear from the coaches as well as some of your favorite Mad Ants players like Ron Howard, Walker Russell Jr., and Anthony Kyle. The 2008-09 Madame Ants will make their debut, and The Mad Ant himself will be attendance. The Mad Ants will have a raffle as well as play games throughout the evening for Mad Ants prizes.
Admission is easy - as part of the Mad Ants' Do-It Best Read to Achieve program, we are asking that all guest please bring new or gently used children's books. Anyone who brings a book will receive a ticket to a home game.
Don't miss out on this opportunity for you and your family to be a part of the 2008-09 Mad Ants season kick-off. There will be plenty of entertainment as Crazy Pinz offers something for everyone including bowling, indoor mini-golf, an arcade, and a full restaurant and bar.
The Mad Ants tip off the 2008-09 NBA D-League season at home in the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum against the expansion Erie BayHawks on Friday, November 28, and season tickets are now on sale for the team's sophomore season.
