
Mad Ants get first win at home

For the second time in less than four days the Fort Wayne Mad Ants (2-2) defeated the Iowa Energy (3-3) 111-99 giving them their first victory at home. The Mad Ants are 3-0 against the Iowa Energy including a pre-season game in Des Moines back in November.
The Mad Ants got off to a hot start, going up 14-4 in the first eight minutes of the game and would lead the rest of the way. Five Mad Ant players scored in double-figures, led by Jeremy Richardson who scored a game high 30 points and Larry Turner who recorded 16 points and 12 rebounds.
The Iowa Energy could not get much of anything going, shooting just 45% from the floor and 15% from behind the arc. The Energy were led by JamesOn Curry with 20 points and Nick Lewis with 16.
Both teams hit the .500 mark with tonight's game.
