
MacPherson Inks Deal with Georgia Force

The Green Bay Blizzard has announced that the first player from the 2006 American Conference Championship team has signed with the AFL.
QB James MacPherson (6', 195lbs Wake Forest) who led the Green Bay Blizzard to the AF2 Championship game has signed with the Georgia Force of the AFL.
MacPherson played in 11 games with the Blizzard and completed 67.1 % of his passes and had a Quarterback rating of 118.01. MacPherson threw for 2,241 yards and 36 touchdowns during the 2006 season. He also had 4 rushing touchdowns. MacPherson led the league in pass yards per reception and yards per play. He was also named the Schutt Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in the American Conference Championship game win over the Florida Firecats.
The Georgia Force is owned by Arthur Blank who also owns the Atlanta Falcons.
