M-Braves Announce Baseball Camp Dates

Mississippi Braves News Release


PEARL, MS -- The annual Mississippi Braves Baseball Camp is scheduled for July 24-26. The three-day event takes place at Trustmark Park from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM daily and offers boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 14 the opportunity to work with professional baseball players and the M-Braves staff.

The cost of the camp is $150 per child. Each camper receives individualized instruction on the fundamentals of baseball, a Mississippi Braves baseball cap and other merchandise, and a certificate of achievement. Lunch and beverages are served following camp each afternoon. Campers also receive two tickets to the Mississippi Braves game each night.

On the final day of camp, participants may obtain autographs from Mississippi Braves players and staff during an organized autograph session on the concourse. All camp participants will be recognized on the field prior to the game on Friday, July 26. For more information, call 888-BRAVES4.

The Mississippi Braves is the Double-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. Since making the move from Greenville, SC, in 2005, over 70 M-Braves have gone on to play in the big leagues.
