HUNTSVILLE, ALA. - The Seattle Mariners have made the following roster move that effects the Jackson Generals roster. RHP Tyler Burgoon has been added to Jackson's roster from AAA Tacoma and placed on the 7-day DL. Burgoon was sent to Jackson to make room for Jackson OF Corey Patterson, who was signed to a minor league deal by Seattle and added to Tacoma's roster yesterday.

Burgoon, 24, pitched in two games for AAA Tacoma after being promoted from Jackson on April 26. In those games he was 1-0, with a 10.80 ERA (4ER/3.1IP). He allowed a run in both of his outings on 4/28 at Las Vegas and 5/3 vs. Reno. Before being transferred, Burgoon was 0-0, with a 1.04 ERA (1ER/8.1IP) in six games. The Defiance, OH native was the Mariners 10th round draft choice in 2010 out of the University of Michigan.

Jackson's roster currently holds at 25 players with three on the disabled list.
