Mississippi Braves News Release
Jackson, TN - A heavy storm cell passed through Jackson, TN on Friday afternoon, leaving in its wake an unplayable field and postponing the series finale between the Mississippi Braves and the Jackson Generals.
The game will be made up as part of a scheduled doubleheader when the Braves return to Pringles Park on Tuesday August 14. Game one will begin at 5:00 PM.
The M-Braves now return home to begin a four-game series with the Chattanooga Lookouts, double-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers. LHP Sean Gilmartin is expected to start game one, with first pitch scheduled for 6:00 PM from Trustmark Park. If you can't make it to the park, listen live to every pitch on 103.9 FM WYAB and online at MississippiBraves.com beginning with the Vicksburg Toyota "Countdown to First Pitch" at 5:30 PM.
