Lynx vs. Pawsox rained out

Ottawa - Today's game between the Ottawa Lynx and the Pawtucket Red Sox was postponed due to rain. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader tomorrow evening. These will be the second and third game of a four-game series between the Lynx and Red Sox. First pitch is scheduled for 6:05 pm Monday, August 21st.

Upcoming Promotions At Lynx Stadium:

August 20th, 1:05pm - Baseball Card Collector Day, Exteriors by Design Family Fun Day & Hyundai Home Run Sunday. Baseball cards and other baseball and sports memorabilia will be available for sale on the concourse. Plus, it's another Exteriors by Design Family Fun Day! Kids can enjoy clowns, face painting, the Fun Zone and prizes. Get 4 tickets, 4 pop, and 4 hot dogs for only $40! (Ticket package is only available at the Lynx Box Office) To top things off, if 2 Lynx players hit back to back home runs during the 6th inning, one lucky fan will drive home in a brand new, fully-loaded Hyundai Sonata with our Hyundai Home Run Challenge!

August 26th, 6:05 pm - Rogers Television presents Kids Appreciation Day. Kids! Arrive to the game early to enter your name in for a chance to throw out the Ceremonial First Pitch and visit the Rogers Television booth for jewelry making, colouring, prize draws and more. Show your best baseball commentary at the Rogers Television Interactive Media Station and you'll be entered to win a behind-the-scenes tour of the Rogers mobile studio, a guest appearance in the broadcast booth and your very own game day media pass!

August 27th, 1:05pm - Ottawa Citizen Team Photo & Autograph Day. The first 5,000 fans will receive a 2006 Ottawa Lynx team photo courtesy of the Ottawa Citizen. Come before the 1:05pm game starts for an Ottawa Lynx team autograph session! Gates open at Noon.

September 3rd, 7:05pm - Fan Appreciation Day & Hyundai Home Run Sunday A TON of prizes will be given away on this day as we thank our fans for supporting us this season. This day is also another Hyundai Home Run Sunday! If 3 consecutive Lynx players hit home runs (back-to-back-to-back) in the bottom of the 6th inning, one fan will win a brand new, fully loaded Hyundai Sonata!

September 4th, 1:05pm - Senators Day at Lynx Stadium & Skyhawks Parachute Last call for baseball! A select number of players from the Ottawa Senators Hockey Club will participate in pre-game activities including a special batting practice at 11:30am and the Ceremonial First Pitch prior to the start of the 1:05pm Lynx game. These players will sport special Ottawa Lynx jerseys that will be available in a silent auction format at the start of the Lynx game and proceeds will support Roger's House. Just before the game starts, watch the Skyhawks put on a spectacular aerial display as they parachute down and land into the outfield before the game starts! (start time of the jump approx. at 12:30pm).
