Lynx To Play 2005 Baseball Season In Ottawa

OTTAWA - The Ottawa Lynx announced today that they will be playing the 2005 Triple-A Baseball season in Ottawa. This will be the Lynx 13th season in Canada's Captial city, and the upcoming season will be their third as the Triple-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles.

Seasons ticket packages for the 2005 baseball season will go on sale on Monday, October 18th, at 10:00 am. Any persons with inquiries with regards to seasons tickets and ticket packages are asked to call the Lynx offices at 749-9947.

Today the Lynx also released the 2005 season schedule. Opening day in Ottawa for the 2005 season will come on Saturday, April 16th when the Lynx will host a special opening day doubleheader against North Division rival Rochester Red Wings at 1:05 pm.
