"We are delighted to partner with one of Minnesota's premier brands in Medica," said Conrad Smith, Lynx Chief Operating Officer. "They have been an industry leader for many years and we look forward to collaborating with them on many different programs throughout the playoffs and beyond."
In addition, Medica will be featured prominently on the new LynxBasketball.com Playoffs Central. Medica will be the presenting sponsor of an online feature, as well as the sponsor of a Playoffs Untamed email for ticket holders. LynxBasketball.com will also feature an integrated Medica logo on both Playoffs Central and the main homepage.
"We truly value our partnership with the Minnesota Lynx during this fantastic season and are thrilled to continue that strong relationship during the playoff run," said Dannette Coleman, Medica vice president for individual and family business. "The Lynx and Medica are two great Minnesota organizations that offer unique products and experiences to a loyal fan base."
With just two regular season games remaining, the Lynx, at 25-7, have clinched the top overall seed entering this year's WNBA playoffs, guaranteeing home court advantage throughout the 2011 WNBA Playoffs.
