Minnesota Lynx News Release
The Lynx will look to rebound this week as they take on the Connecticut Sun on Friday and San Antonio on Sunday. The Sun are a similar team to the Lynx, as they have had an up and down season behind All-Star Asjha Jones. Like the Lynx, the Sun currently hold the third position in their conference. The Sun have won seven of the past eight meetings between the two teams.
Sunday's matchup pits the Lynx against the team immediate below them in the Western Conference standings, the San Antonio Silver Stars. The two teams split the first two games of the season series, with the road team capturing victory. As of Tuesday, August 4, the two teams are separated by a mere one game in the Western Conference standings.
